Will Curt Q20 5th Wheel Hitch Work With Reese Elite Underbed Adapter
Question:
I have a 2016 Chevy 2500. The previous owner installed hitch mounting rails under the bed. Im not sure what brand they are. The bed has a rhino lining with holes cut into the bed. The rails have a single threaded mounting hole. The holes are 13inch apart front to back, 30inch side to side. In doing more homework Im pretty sure its the Under-Bed Rail and Installation Kit for Reese Elite Series 5th Wheel Trailer Hitches Item # RP30868. The truck no longer has the pucks that go in the rails. I acquired a Curt Q20 5th wheel hitch. Im guessing I need an above bed rail system to attach the 5th wheel hitch to. If possible Id like to keep the Curt Q20. Is it possible to mount the Q20 to my truck using the existing installed rails? In doing more homework I cane across a similar question to etrailer with the answer being this adapter Reese Elite Series Underbed Rail Adapter for Standard 5th Wheel Trailer Hitches - 20,000 lbs, Item # RP30156 Can the Reese underbed rail adapter, RP30156 be used for my situation?
