Installing a 7 way Plug On An Australian 1998 Land Rover Discovery
Question:
I brought my 1998 Land Rover Defender from Australia to the U.S. Came equipped with a 7 pin flat connecter where the red wire is a sperate brake wire. I am needing to change this to a 7 pin round connector and there is not a separate wiring location for the brake wire, any suggestions?

I do have a potential solution for you. Unfortunately we do not offer any kind of custom wiring kits or adapters you can use for this purpose. What you can do is remove the 7 pin flat plug and splice in a 7 way round plug like the # C57102. In order to separate out the turn signals from the brake lights you would need a converter, # 118158.
