Difference Between The C16022 And C29BR Fifth Wheel Adapters

Just looking at 5th wheels for my factory Puck system in my ram. Just a question about the factory Puck adaptors. Is there any difference other than design for the curt c16022 vs c29br. Are theyre any differences between the two?

Both adapters will fit the puck system in your 2023 Ram 2500. The # C16022 is designed to work only with Curt brand sliding fifth wheel hitches like the # C16541. The # C29BR is more of a universal adapter and can be used with both sliding and fixed fifth wheel hitches. The # C29BR will also work with other brands of fifth wheel hitch such as B&W and Reese. It will work with most fifth wheel hitches designed for industry standard rails.

We generally recommend a slider for short bed models, and a fixed hitch for the 8' bed models.
