Recommended Transmission Cooler for 2017 Buick Enclave
Question:
2017 Buick Enclave 3.6 6 cylinder AWD, I was reviewing coolers recommended for my car and trying to decide between Flex-A - lite and Derale D13503 - My concern is that will I be getting enough difference in performance, concerned will the bang for my buck going with Flex-A-Lite over Derale justify the additional cost?. I will be pulling trailer and mower approximately 2400# - not commercially, maybe 2 to 3 times a month - cutting various family members lawns. Thanks in advance

You aren't going to see any kind of significant difference in performance between the Derale # D13503 and the Flex-a-lite # FLX400117. When choosing a transmission cooler you typically want to choose the largest one that will fit. In this case it is the Derale 8000. You also aren't towing constantly and it doesn't sound like you're traveling great distances to a point that higher performance is overly important. I recommend saving yourself the money and going with the Derale.
