Solution for MaxxFan RV Roof Vent Lid 07000K That Won't Open with Remote
Question:
Maxxfan Deluxe Model 7000K - part # MA00-07000K Unit failed to open lid, was very difficult to open manually. Replaced motor, now easily opens only manually not by panel nor remote. There is no binding with the operator mechanism. The panel and remote work ok for the other functions, beeps upon powerup, fan runs ok, if used the auto light also comes on. Lid Motor works correctly when directly applying 12v. Upon disassembly with a bench setup, there appears to be no power to the motor cable when you request an open/close, just a quick .1 volt, then no voltage. There is no rain sensor. What is the most likely non functioning part? Thanks

Expert Reply:
The circuit board of your MaxxFan # MA00-07000K has failed and it would be time to replace it with the part # MA10A21275K.
