Yes, you absolutely can use a B&W fifth wheel hitch in your short bed 2022 Chevy Silverado 2500. We do recommend using a slider hitch since you have the short bed. If your truck already has the OEM puck system in the bed, you can use the B&W Companion Slider # BWRVK3775. This is their 20K rated slider hitch. It is important to note that you may need to tow with your tailgate down when using his slider hitch with certain campers.

If you do not have the OEM puck system you will need to install a rail kit # BWRVR3200. With that you can use the B&W Patriot Slider # BWRVK3270.
