How Will The Spindle Need To Be Removed On a 7,000LB Torsion Axle?
Question:
how do you remove the spindle from a 7000 lb torsion axle

Expert Reply:
The Spindle # TRU37FR is going to be welded in place on your torsion axle. It will most likely need to be cut off and torched out due to the way your axle is clocked near the mounting bracket.
Before you attempt to replace the spindle be sure to check the condition of the rubber inserts inside the axle as you may need to consider replacing the entire axle if there is to much free play on your axle. As we do not carry replacement torsion axles you might consider a Timbren Axle-Less system like # TASR7KS01 which is rated for 7,000lbs.
