Wiring In The Roadmaster 12v Outlet Kit # RM-9332 In A 2003 Hummer H2
Question:
Hey there Kevin If I go ahead and have the RoadMaster 9332 connected directly to my battery, am I going to be able to get a jump start when needed without disconnecting the RM 9332? Also, I am thinking if it is necessary to disconnect then it may be prudent to at least connect the ground terminal to another location other than the battery itself as then I will only need to disconnect the RM9332 pos wire from the the positive terminal of the battery. Please let me know what you think. Thanks my friend.

You should not need to disconnect the # RM-9332 when jumping the vehicle battery, but I do agree that the ground wire should be placed elsewhere. I typically use a self-tapping screw and shoot it right into some bare metal in the engine compartment. I typically try to run the wire along the outer edge of the engine compartment to keep it out of the way for whenever other maintenance needs to be done.
