Does etrailer Carry a Tow Dolly Rated For 5,000LBS of Vehicle Weight?
Question:
Would like a tow dolly with a little more capacity than the Demcos. Some are rated at 5000 lb. but they are much cheaper and look look too cheap for my liking. Does etrailer have a dolly in the 5000lb. range?

Currently we only carry the following tow dolly's with the Demco's having the higher towing capacity of 4,800lbs.

Demco Kar Kaddy SS Tow Dolly with Disc Brakes - 4,800 lbs # DM9713045
Demco Kar Kaddy X Tow Dolly w/ Disc Brakes - 4,800 lbs - # DM9713093
While there are some other brands out there like you found that are rated slightly higher at 5,000lbs or above we do not carry these as they do not have the best quality as you noticed just by looking at them.
Personally I really like the Demco units as the SS folds up allowing you to more easily store it indoors if needed. The X is also great if you do not need the folding ability and it also allows for more cars to fit with limited ground clearance.
