Is Bumper Trimming Needed for Install of Draw Tite Hitch # 76182

It says nothing about cutting the bumper in the instructions. Am I missing something?

I checked the install instructions for the Draw Tite hitch part # 76182 and there is trimming of the heat shield but there isn't trimming of the bumper required.
