Will Rock Tamers Heavy-Duty Mud Flaps RT54FR Interfere With Parking Sensors On A 2019 Ford F350?
Question:
Hi, I have a 2019 Ford F-350 Dually with the 3" hitch. I am looking at the Rock Tamers Heavy-Duty, Adjustable Mud Flap System for 3" Hitches - Matte Black # RT54FR but have a question. Will this system interfere with my parking sensors?

Hi Stuart,
I actually have heard a few reports of the Rock Tamers # RT54FR causing the parking sensors to trip. It is kind of inevitable with this style of mud flap since they sit so high up. However, they really do a great job of keeping road debris from flying back and hitting whatever it is you happen to have behind you (trailer, camper, other cars, etc).
That said, if you are planning on leaving the mud flaps on and would prefer to have your sensors unimpeded, I would recommend going with one of the options I have listed below. They are more traditional style mud flaps, installing in the wheel wells, but are designed for the dually models of your truck and will still a good job.
