The Blue Ox Rangefinder II tow bar (BX4322) is compatible with adapter # RM-037 if you are using Roadmaster base plates on your 1975 Ford Van. However, neither Roadmaster nor Blue Ox have custom fit base plates that will fit your van.

What you could do is use the Blue Ox universal bolt-on adapter tabs, # BX88266. I have included a link to the installation details for you.

Be sure to check the van owners manual to make sure it can be flat towed. You will also need safety cables such as # RM-643, a lighting solution such as # RM-2120, and supplemental braking.

Most states require supplemental braking. One of the easiest systems to set up and use is the Patriot, # BLU37TR. This is a proportional system that will apply the van brakes in proportion to how much the tow vehicle is braking. This is the safest way to stop and it reduces wear and tear on both vehicles.
