How To Determine If The Hollywood Racks RV Rider Bike Rack Will Fit With Spare Tire on Sprinter RV

Question:

Will HLY64FR fit beyond our spare tire pictured on our sprinter van below. The hitch is fairly low to the ground and the tire holder is mounted. We have 2 fat tire e-bikes at 70 lbs. each. Would a swing extender or anything work to open the door on right?

While I cannot say from looking at your image that the Hollywood Racks RV Rider Bike Rack # HLY64FR will or won't fit your Sprinter van having the spare tire, I can give you some measurements that will help you to determine if it will. The bike rack itself is going to have 12" of clearance to the closest part of the rack(handle for inside bike secure to post) to the center of the hitch pin hole. If your spare tire sticks out more than 12" past the hitch pin center hole you are going to have to have an Extension # e88YR to have enough clearance for the bikes. Currently we do not have a swing away extender that is compatible with use on RV motorhomes so I cannot recommend one for your application.
