Why Are Drill Bits Included with 2022 Ford F-350 New TorkLift StableLoad Suspension Upgrade

Question:

Do you have any installation videos for this new version of the Torklift Stableload Item TL89CR? I have a 2022 F-350 Super Crew 4x4, and this part is a match, according to the etrailer fitting guide. The description of this part on your page specifically says no drilling required but I see 2 drill bits included in the kit, and what looks to be a drilling template/guide...and it sure looks like there are 3 screws that need to go through the leaf spring to mount the bottom plate. Oddly, I cant even find this part on Torklifts own webpage...makes me a bit leery of this part...

Thanks for reaching out, Bill!

I definitely see your concerns about the TorkLift StableLoad Suspension Upgrade w Quick-Disconnect # TL89CR for your 2022 Ford F-350, but I hopefully I'll be able to put your mind at ease even though we don't currently have an installation video.

This kit is the same as the TorkLift part A7312S (we have to change our part numbers) which is why you're having trouble cross-referencing it, and the 2 drill bits and the template are used to make a 1/8" dimple in your leaf springs - according to TorkLift.

This is indeed a fit for your vehicle and it doesn't require any drilling!
