Hello I have a 2016 gmc 2500 crew cab short bed 6.5 foot that is hitch prepped and I have curt a20 hitch with a r20 roller base wondering what rail kit i need to install this in my truck.

Cooper, you're just going to need the Adapter Rails for Curt 5th Wheel Hitch # C47BR. This adapter will pop into your OEM pucks and provide a mounting point for your Curt A20 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch.

My 2016 gmc was pre puck stystem so there are no homes in the bed but had the threaded holes In the frame to bolt to.

@CooperB Okay I think I understand what you're saying. So it sounds like your truck was prepped with standard rails, which would mean you don't need the adapter, and the hitch should bolt right into the rails.

You can use the Curt E16 fifth wheel hitch part #C16115 in the bed of your 2018 Chevy Silverado with the OEM pucks but you would need to use the adapter part #C47BR which converts the pucks to the rail kit style this hitch needs.
