Base Needed to Convert Flatbed B&W Companion Hitch to Standard Bed Model
Question:
2014 Dodge Ram 3500 6.7litre Diesel. I need to know that it will work with my BandW Companion hitch it was on a flatbed but now is in the truck above. Need to know it will give me a 6 inch clearance over my bed rails.

The head from your B&W Companion Flatbed Gooseneck-to-5th-Wheel Trailer Hitch Adapter # BWRVK3050 will fit with the Replacement B&W Companion Base # BWRVB3500 to give you the standard Companion # BWRVK3500 hitch.
The Flatbed version has a fixed height of 10-1/2" while the standard has a height range of 16-1/4" - 18-1/4" so you will have more clearance with this version of the base, yes.
