What is Needed to Drill 1-1/4 Inch Hole When Installing Draw-Tite Front Hitch 65046
Question:
What type of bit do i need to drill this 1-1/4 in hole? And the directions say to drill them on the inside? There is absolutely zero accessibility on the driver side for a hole on the inside of the frame. Your assistance would be appreciated

Hey Eric,
So for the Draw-Tite Front Hitch # 65046 you will need a 1-1/4" hole cut saw drill bit; some of these are designed only for wood so just make sure to get one that specifies it is for metal. As for the hole, we've had people with the same issue about accessibility and Draw-Tite has said it can be drilled on the outside of the frame as opposed to the inside.
