Replacement A-Frame Trailer Tongue Jack For a Jayco Baja Pop Up Camper

Question:

I have a jayco Baja pop up. The current jack needs to be replaced. Fully retracted with no wheel the jack stick down just under 6 inches. I need the jack to raise at least 16 inches. Do you have one like that?

First you are going to want to check the diameter of the opening on your Jayco Baja pop up camper. I have seen several times the round hole is only going to allow for a 2" diameter Jack # DL22530. Otherwise we do have the more common 2-1/4" Jack # TJA-5000S-B like you found. While these jacks do only have a 15" or 15-5/8" extension they do hang a bit lower than your current jack. Also you can use the Flip Foot # FA88-00-4500 on the 2-1/4" jack to quickly gain another 4" of height. Personally I like to use the Jack Stand # CAM44635 as it provides a large surface area to distribute the weight rather than sinking into the ground or asphalt. It is 8" tall so this will save you from having to crank the jack all the way to its maximum length which will make it more stable and less likely to become damaged or bent.
