Can 4,400 lb Axles Use 26 Inch, 6,000 lb Leaf Springs

Have 4400lb axels tandem Measures 26 1/4 center to center with trailer weight on them 26 center to center with axel hanging tire off the ground Can I use 6000lb leaf springs instead of 4500lb 26 inches center to center This will be second time have to replace

Hi Wes,

Yep, if you'd like you can definitely go with the 6,000 lb capacity, 26" long 6-Leaf Double-Eye Spring for 6,000-lb Trailer Axles # e94SR.

It's not going to hurt anything, though the ride will be a bit stiffer compared to the 4,500 lb # e27SR leaf springs. If you're okay with that though, and like the added robustness of the 6k springs, you most certainly can do that.
