Suspension Enhancement for 2022 Ford F-150

Question:

Hi, I have been looking at a few or your products but I think I need some help in the right direction. I have an 2022 F150 4x4 with two leaf springs in the back of my truck. We use the truck to tow my wifes 7000lb food truck. Im trying to fix my sag when I tow the trailer. Thank You for your help. Would I be better to add one more leaf spring or one of the below products? RoadActive Suspension Custom Leaf Spring Enhancement Kit - Heavy Duty Part Number: RAS3611-YHD SuperSprings Custom Suspension Stabilizer and Sway Control Kit Confirmed to Fit 2022 Ford F-150 Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Air Helper Springs - Rear Axle Part Number: AL82WQ

Hi John; I would go the suspension enhancement route to reduce the sag on your 2022 Ford F-150. Out of all of the options you referenced I would personally choose the # AL82WQ. Air bags have the most adjustability so you can get them just right with your towing setup. They also can be run at the minimum psi so they have no impact on your unloaded ride quality.

However, the adjustability can also be a downside if you don't want to mess with it. The easiest way to adjust the air bags is to get an air compressor like the Air Lift Air Shock Controller # AL25804 or Air Lift WirelessONE # AL25980 but this obviously carries an additional cost.

If the additional cost isn't an issue I would choose the air bags. If you want something you won't have to adjust and maintain I would get the RoadActive Suspension # RAS3611-YHD. These are a great option that strengthen your existing leaf springs with a lot of benefits and a minimal impact on ride quality. They are also adjustable but typically you set them the way you want with the initial installation and don't have to worry about them after that.
