Trailer Wiring Adapter to Convert 2010 Range Rover HSE with 7-Way to 4-Pole Flat

I have a factory installed tow package and recently ordered a hitch mount from you guys. I ordered a Range Rover Factory Genuine OEM Trailer Wiring Harness. Is this part the correct 7-way round to 4 pin flat adapter? Attached is a photo of the wiring harness. Thanks

Thank you for your recent purchase of a ball mount (sometimes also called a draw bar) and for your included photo showing the OEM trailer package wiring harness you purchased.

The adapter part # 118710 that you referenced is designed to adapt a 7-way vehicle connector that has rounds pins to the 4-pole flat type connector typical on many trailers here in the U.S. There are two types of 7-way, the round pin style and the blade style; the latter is in much more common use. The linked article includes photos that show both types.

If your OEM 7-way has round pins (rather than flat blade style pins) then the adapter part # 118710 you referenced will adapt it to a 4-pole flat connector so long as you have turn signals and brake lights on the same circuit.
