How Large of USB Charger For Firman Zero E Expansion Battery Pack
Question:
Good Morning, Regarding your Firman Zero E Expansion Battery Pack, how large of USB charger do we need to charge the pack independently thru the USB-C port. What about the yellow port to left of USB port, what do we need to charge this pack independently of power station, if we need to? Thanks!

Hi William,
Per Firman, the Firman Zero E Expansion Battery Pack # FIR68VR requires the USB charger to be more than 30W to start the charging process.
The port to the left of the USB port is an XT60 port, so you'd need an AC/DC charger you plug into the wall that has an XT60 connection. While we don't carry these, they're pretty common, and this port allows you to charge the # FIR68VR with that.

Hi Kyle, Thank you for the great info. to help us in our Power Station purchasing decision. Our thought is to leave the main Firman Zero E Power Station at home as UPS for our sump pump and use the Expansion Battery Pack in our DIY van build to charge phones, power lights, etc. Being able to charge, if needed in our van, the Expansion Battery Pack independently would give us great flexibility. Is the XT60 connection port on the Firman Expansion Battery Pack strictly for input charging then? Not sure of wattage for 12V accessory plug in our van, does this XT60 port require a 30W minimum also? Thanks again, William
