2018 Forest River R-Pod 179 Storage Cover Fitment with Thule Awning

Question:

Hello - I have a 2018 RPOD 179 that I need a cover for. The issue I am having is the previous owner put a Thule awning on the door side, so a cover designed for the 179 is too tight and doesn’t cover the entire camper as the awning adds just just enough to make the standard cover not work correctly. Do you have any suggestions? Thank you!

Hey Craig, thanks for reaching out!

If the Adco Olefin HD RV Cover for Travel Trailers up to 18' # AD37ZR isn't wide enough for your trailer you can try bumping up to the 20' long option as part # AD97ZR, but this is only 1" wider so I'm skeptical that it will be any better.

I think you'll have an easier time removing the awning, as annoying as that sounds.
