Possible Solution for Trailer that Drags Going into Driveway

Question:

Bought a new JMA 26ft bumper pull open car hauler with a dove tail. Ramps pull out from rear and rub on steep driveway even with hitch all the way down to bring dove tail up. Any ideas?

Hey Kevin, what about raising the suspension of the trailer? For that we have the Correct Track lift kit part # RR23QX which would raise the suspension by right at 2 inches.

Do you make a less expensive lift kit only?

@KevinF Possibly...but it comes down to what your current axle diameter is and if the axles are currently above the leaf springs or not. If you have 2-3/8 inch diameter axles (3,500 lb capacity) and they are above the springs you could use the part # K71-384-00 for a lift to move the springs to be above the axle. If instead they are 3 inch diameter (5,200-7k) then instead you'd need the part # K71-385-00.
