Height Settings For The PullRite OEX SuperLite 5th Wheel Hitch
Question:
I am considering this hitch for my 2019 F-350 DRW to pull a 2020 Grand Design Momentum 397TH the hitch specifications state the Hitch height is16-3/4inch - 19-1/4 Is the stated hitch height to the top of the funnel, or is it to the bottom of the pin box surface? My current fifth-wheel hitch height is 19inch above the bed and my RV pin box needs every bit of that 19inch to clear my bed rails when turning.

Hey Todd,
The 16-3/4" to 19-1/4" height listed for the PullRite OEX SuperLite 5th-Wheel Hitch # PUL89ZR is also factoring in the height added from the king pin adapter so this measurement essentially would be the same as saying from the bed up to the bottom plate of the pin box. I've attached a short video below where Ed will walk you through the installation process and go over how to set your hitch height.
