There is a kayak carrier made by Thule that will allow you to carry 2 kayaks, but the Thule Hull-A-Port part number # TH834 can only carry one. You could use 2 of these carriers on the roof of your 2008 Subaru Outback Wagon if you wanted.
For a carrier that can carry up to 4 kayaks you would want the Thule The Stacker # TH830.
