5th Wheel Hitch for 2024 GMC 3500 AT4 Crew Cab Standard Bed 6’9”
Question:
I have a 2024 GMC 3500 AT4 Crew cab standard bed 6’9”, I was wondering if the Curt Powerride would fit or would I would need a slider? I have seen different answers regarding the GMC bed since the gooseneck placement is back about 2”.

Hello SR. For your 2024 GMC 3500 AT4 Crew cab standard bed 6’9” with OEM Prep Package it is recommended that you have a slider hitch to ensure clearance on those tight turns. I recommend B&W Companion OEM 5th Wheel Hitch w/ Slider for Chevy/GMC Towing Prep Package - Dual Jaw - 20K # BWRVK3775. It is rated for up 20K and has a Limited Lifetime Warranty, they have excellent customer service, and is USA made.
If you are looking for something in the Curt brand another excellent option would be Adapter Rails for Curt 5th Wheel Hitch - Ford and Chevy/GMC Towing Prep Package # C88KR which would go right into your OEM Prep Package, and Curt A20 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch w/ S20 Slider - Dual Jaw - 20,000 lbs # C55DR which would sit directly on the rails. This hitch is also rated up to 20k and has Limited Lifetime Warranty.
If you do not have the OEM Prep Package please let me know so we can explore other options.
