Cargo Bag for a 2013 Toyota Matrix with Factory Roof Rack

Question:

Hi, I have a 2013 Toyota Matrix with factory oem roof rack, the cross bars cannot be adjusted. We are looking for a soft shell cargo bag, I cant seem to find one that will fit. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks

You have a couple of options. First, you can use a bag of your choice, even if it is longer than the bar spread on your 2013 Toyota Matrix. The bag will sag in the middle but there is no way around it for this set up. To protect the roof where the bag will sag you can use protective pad # RL100650.

And the second option is to use a roof mount cargo basket, # Y07070, and attach the bag to it. The basket is a direct fit to the factory roof rack on your Matrix.

And yet a third option is to use the Rightline Saddlebag, # RL100B90, which is basically a backpack for a car. I have linked a video review for you to view.
