Will Hopkins Smart Hitch Backup Camera Fit a 2008 Honda Ridgeline
Question:
Will this HM50002 work with the OEM Honda ridgeline plug? I believe it is a 7 way 6 blades and a pin in the middle If not, is there any adapter ? I do not want to splice into wires if I can avoid it.

If you look at the back of the 7-Way trailer connector on your 2008 Honda Ridgeline you should see that there is a wiring harness with a round plug and is plugged into the back of the connector. If you release the locking tabs and pull that plug off, it should look like one of the connectors in the backup camera # HM50002. I have included a picture of what it should look like.
If it looks like the picture then the backup camera will plug in line with the 7-Way. If it does not look like this then you will need to hardwire in the camera.
