If you wanted to use a J style kayak carrier with a T bar like the Darby Extend-a-Truck Kayak Carrier part # DTA944-968-924 you would need to use a Rhino-Rack T-Load part # RTL002 instead. The Darby is not compatible with any of the J-style carriers we offer due to the crossbar design of the carrier.

For a J style carrier to work with the T-Load you would want the Thule Hull a Port part # TH834.
