Dimensions of Hopkins 12-Volt Power Socket # HM55115 and # HM55125
Question:
What are the dimensions of the Hopkins hm55115 and the 55125? What is the diameter of the round base? How far does it project from the wall? I assume that the wires route along the base and exit through a side. Which side of the HM5525 do the wires exit the base. the side opposite the light? Same side as the light? A photo of the bottom of the base would help. Thanks

Expert Reply:
Hopkins 12-Volt Power Socket # HM55115 and # HM55125 have the same dimensions. The base has a diameter of 2-3/4 inches. The overall height is 2-1/2 inches.
On both the wires exit at the bottom (or the side with the light if using that model). So if the wording on the cap was facing right side up, the wired would exit from the base at the bottom.
