Does Draw-Tite Use Knock-Out in Bumper to Pass Through Rear Fascia of 2013 Subaru Impreza
Question:
doesthe Draw-Tite trailer hitch for a 2013 subaru impreza hatchback go through the rear bumper skin or under it. There seems to be a knock out to allow for a bumper hitch. Thanks

For your 2013 Impreza Hatchback I'd recommend Draw-Tite # DT24959, if your vehicle has a single exhaust.
If it is a WRX or WRX STi model with the quad tip exhaust, you'd want to use the Curt Class I, part # C11120.
For the Curt model, there would be some fascia trimming required.
The knockout you mentioned is intended to allow the factory installed hitch pass through the bumper fascia, and would not be used by an aftermarket hitch.
To complete your towing system, you might also need the following:
Trailer wiring harness, part # 118573
Ball mount, part # C45521
Pin and clip, part # F-4
1-7/8 inch hitch ball 19256
2 inch hitch ball 19258
