Timbren Axle-Less System Recommendation for a Tear Style Trailer Towing 500 lbs Max
Question:
I am debating on the timbren 2000# and 1200# axles for my new tear style trailer I am building. The empty trailer will weigh about 300lbs excluding axles, wheels and tires. I will most likely be hauling less than 500# of gear at any time. Would you recommend timbrens 1200# or 2000# setup and why? I want the trailer to ride well and not bounce all over the place. Thank you.

Based on the weight of your trailer and how much weight you plan on transporting the 1,200 lb Timbrens would be a better choice for you. Using a capacity system that is matched closer to what your trailer will see will provide you with an overall better ride quality than if you went with a system rated too high.
For that you would want the part # A12WS545 that you referenced.
