Question:
What trailer hitch can I install on my 2008 Mariner which has backup sensors?

The presence of the back-up sensors will not have any bearing on the installation of a hitch. The Curt # 13650 would be an excellent choice that would work well for you. This hitch will fit whether or not your vehicle is equipped with the OEM 1-1/4 inch receiver.
The fact that your Mariner has the back up sensors will mean that you'll need to use the # 118551 trailer wiring harness, if you'll be towing with your Mariner. It's been found that the # 118251 doesn't work on vehicles with the back up sensors. The recommended ball mount is part # 2923 and for a 1-7/8 inch ball, use part # 19260 or for a 2 inch ball, use part # 63845.
