Question:
What options are available to install a fifth wheel hitch in a 2014 Ram 3500 that has the factory installed fifth wheel prep package? Im having a difficult time finding one that is sized properly to match the factory hole dimensions.

The problem you are having is something that new Ram owners are experiencing in part because Dodge sort of put the cart before the horse on their OEM underbed system. For a while there were no hitches that fit directly into the system but now there are hitches that will fit.
Curt and B and W make hitches that will fit directly into the underbed hitch prep package of your vehicle. For a Curt hitch with a 24k capacity check out the part # C16545-16021. For a B and W hitch with a 25k capacity check out the part # BWRVK3600.
There is also another solution. You can use adapter # RP30154 and then use a Reese, Draw-Tite, Hidden Hitch, Curt, Valley, or Husky 5th wheel trailer hitch that fits in above the bed rails.
For a hitch I recommend going with the 16K Reese hitch # RP30047 It is a good entry level hitch that has a dual-jaw for a secure king pin connection and a 4-Way pivoting head. If a higher capacity is needed they have a 20K model, # RP30928.
If your truck is a short bed then you would need the slider versions # RP30051 for 16K and # C16536 for a 20K. I have included a couple of review videos for you showing the features of the hitches.
