Temperature Gauge and Installation for D15902 Transmission and Oil Cooler on a 2001 Dodge Ram 1500

D15902 How are these cut in to existing system? Do you sell a temp gauge that would go with this? Any reason to think this unit wont fit my dodge Ram 1500 Pickup Truck 5.9L? Will be towing 4500-6500 trailer, is this the best cooling option? Thanks

To install transmission and oil cooler # D15902 on your 2001 Dodge Ram 1500, you will first install the sandwich adapter between your oil filter and engine, then attach the cooler to your radiator or AC condenser core using the plastic rods, clips and foam pads included with the unit.

Once the cooler is installed, you will cut and route hoses back to the sandwich adapter and attach them with hose clamps.

Cooler # D15902 does have an available temperature gauge, part # D13009, which works on either oil or transmission fluid.

For your 2001 Dodge Ram 1500, and for the load of 4500 to 6500 pounds that you plan to tow, cooler # D15902 would be a good fit.
