2009 Toyota Sienna Combo Transmission & Oil Cooler Recommendation
Question:
Could I ask your help - I truly rely on your recommendations: My 2009 Sienna occasionally hauls our 3000lb Coleman popup along with our family of 6. We typically travel long distances. Our Canadian spec Sienna has the towing package which includes a mini-oil cooler in the bottom belly of the radiator. Incidentally we replaced the radiator this year after old one blew.. That oil-cooler is really a transfer cooler. Its. A heavy load on on the van so like my old 2002 Sienna, Id like to keep the fluids cool.

As long as you have room for it, the Derale Combination Transmission and Engine Oil Cooler # D15902 would be an excellent choice to keep your engine oil and transmission fluid cool.
This kit measures 17" Wide x 12-1/2" tall x 3/4" deep, you will want to measure the area in front of your radiator to determine if you have clearance for it. I attached an install video for you to check out as well.
The oil cooler portion of this kit has a thermostat in the sandwich adapter so that your vehicle won't have a hard time warming up. This is especially helpful for you since it sounds like you are from Canada.
