Yes, the now discontinued Draw-Tite 5th wheel slider hitch 6033 can be used in your 2011 GMC Sierra 2500 short bed. You will just need an installation kit for the truck.
You have some options for an installation kit. You can use a universal kit, # RP30035. The benefit is the lower cost. But this kit does require drilling into the truck frame and will take longer to install compared to a custom kit.
For a custom kit you can use # RP50066-58. The cost is higher but there is no drilling of the truck frame required and it will install in less time than the universal kit.
