Best Bike Rack That Allows Access to Cargo Area of 2006 Honda Element

Hey guys Im looking for platform 2 bike 2inch hitch for my honda 2006 element that will allow complete clearance for the tail gate to come down with the bike off. Is there one? Thanks

If you don't already have a hitch installed, I'd recommend the Draw-Tite Class III Trailer Hitch, part # 75659. The Class III uses a 2 inch receiver opening, which is more common than the smaller 1-1/4 inch side, and has many more available accessories.

Although we have several bike racks that would work for you, I'd recommend the Hollywood Racks SportRider, part # HR1000Z. The rack has many features that would make it work very well with your Honda Element. The rack has an angled shank that provides increased ground clearance. The rack is capable of tilting rearward with the bikes still attached, which might give you enough clearance to open the rear hatch. When the bikes are removed from the rack, you'll have no problem fully opening the hatch for full cargo area access. An optional anti-rattle hitch lock is available as part # HRLHPT.
