How to Pick Out the Correct Rise/Drop Ball Mount for a 2013 GMC HD 3500 with 2-1/2 inch Hitch

Good Morning, I am not towing anything very heavy at this time but want a versatile trailer hitch that is capable of over 10,000 pounds if I need it with a rise and . I have a race car trailer with standard coupler I used most. I see some good heavy duty options for my class 5 - 2 1/2 inch reciever but want the best option. Thanks,

The best way to pick out the correct ball mount is to pick the one that will allow your trailer to be towed as level as possible. I attached an FAQ on exactly how to do this. Once you check out that link and determine what rise/drop you need check out the other link I attached that will take you to all of the ball mounts we offer that are designed to fit 2-1/2 inch hitches like what you have.

You will want to select the rise/drop you need from the filters on the left and the correct ball mounts will be listed.
