Question:
Trying to install the 76031 tow from home on a 2013 nissan pathfinder. What relatively inexpensive tool would you recommend for removing the two bolts on the side of the bracket? I used an impact driver to remove the lower bolts, but cannot find a compact tool powerful enough and small enough to fit between the fascia and the brackets.

I spoke with my contact at Draw-Tite about your 2013 Nissan Pathfinder. They said there have been no reported issues with removing the tie-downs they are aware of.
Per the instructions all that is mentioned is that the tie-downs need to be removed from the vehicle. I have attached a link to an installation video you can check out that shows how they remove the tie-down on a Pathfinder. In the video they use an air tool that seems to work quite well.
From the video it looks as though you might be able to use a ratchet with a socket to get to the tie-down. You may want to spray some lubricant on the bolts to help make it a bit easier to remove the tie-down.
