Question:
I have a 2012 ram 3500 longbed, I need both gooseneck and fifth wheel. I have a sprayed in bed liner, will the companion fifth wheel eat up the liner or does it attach tight enough to prevent this. What is my best option without having the rails mounted in my truck

The B and W Companion hitch like part # BWRVK3500 would be the best option for you.
To install this hitch you will need the correct rail kit though, (this doubles as the gooseneck hitch), for that you would want the part # BWGNRK1313-5W if you have a diesel engine or part # BWGNRK1308-5W if you have a gas engine.
The spray-in bed liner you have in the bed of your truck will work well with the Companion hitch. The hitch won't damage the liner, nor would the liner need to get removed.
