That's an easy one, the best 5th wheel hitch/gooseneck hitch available for your 2008 GMC Sierra 2500 short bed would be the B and W Companion hitch # BWRVK3400-5W. The rail kit for this hitch (that is underbed) that also doubles as a gooseneck hitch is the Custom Underbed Installation Kit # BWGNRK1067-5W.
