However, in thule online guide civic is not in the list for 45jv model. I want to buy and use 45jv for my civic but I can not be sure if it fits or not. Thanks,

The Thule OutWay 2 Bike Rack, part # TH45JV is the bike rack I recommend for your 2012 Honda Civic Sedan.
This bike rack comes with 2 retractable cables that secure the bike rack to your vehicle. This is a nice feature because most trunk-mount racks have 6 straps or cables. This bike rack also has a locking system that secures the bike rack to the vehicle and a cable lock that secures the bikes to the rack. This carrier fold flat when not being used for easier storage.
If you are planning on carrying bikes with alternative frames like kids bikes or women's bikes I recommend using an adapter bar like part # 64005. This attaches between the seat post and the handlebar stem and allows the bike to be carried more level in the carrier while providing additional ground clearance. I have attached a product review video for this adapter bar.
I was unable to find a 991 carrier you referenced on Thule's web site, so it would be impossible for me to make a comparison.
