Review of Brophy Camper Tie-Downs HSAB

Speaker 1: Today we're taking a look at the Brophy Clamp-On Camper Tie Downs. Now tie downs provide attachment points for securing your camper to your truck bed. The angle design of each unit makes attaching the term buckles much easier and it provides more clearance between the tie downs and your truck. The wide clamps provide superior holding strength. Neoprene pads protect your truck's paint so you can place the pads on to the unit anywhere where it makes contact with the truck and that's going to offer protection to the finishing on your vehicle. The units are constructed of strong durable steel and they feature a nice black powder-coated finish to resist rust and corrosion and last a long time. They're very easy to install and remove. It does come with detailed installation instructions to walk you through the whole process step by step, but basically, each unit gets clamped onto the bed rails of your truck, no drilling required. With this part number, you get four angled camper tie downs with the clamp plates.

You get the padding and you get all necessary installation hardware. The products made in the USA and it is designed to fit most full size non dually pickup trucks. You just need to make sure that the external bed rail does not exceed five and a half inches and these do require at least two inches of space beneath the lip of the bed rail and they're not compatible with drop-in bed liners, plastic bed rails, double-walled beds or side-step beds. Each clamp or each bracket measures 11 and 5/16 inches tall. This portion right here measures 3 inches wide and the steel of the portion right here measures 3/8 of an inch thick, so nice, durable steel construction. Here at the back of the unit, the distance we have from the center of the bottom mount hole to the center of the top mount holes is 8 and 9/16 inches and then on-center between these two holes is 3 and 5/8 inches and the overall width here at the bracket is 6 inches wide. That's going to do it for today's look at the Brophy Clamp-On Camper Tie Downs..
