Review of Brophy Camper Tie-Downs TDSF

Speaker 1: Today, we're taking a lot at the Brophy Stake Pocket Mounted Camper Tie Downs. These tie downs provide attachment points for securing your camper to your truck bed. The anchor tab, located on each tie down, which is this tab right here. It permits movement by securing the tie downs to the truck bed side rails. So, the anchor tab would secure with the included hardware goes right through there, and it anchors into the top of the bed rail. That again is going to keep the unit from any type of movement. The necessary hardware to do that is included right here in the hardware bag.

I also want to point out that the unit includes one, two, and three spacers to allow for a tight fit inside of the stake pocket. Those are removable, so the spacers can be pried off if necessary. We're looking at a strong and durable steel construction with black powder-coated finishing against each tie down. A really nice look, and it also makes them rust and corrosion resistant. It's a quick and easy permanent installation. These mount inside of the stake pockets. Drilling is required.

They attach with the included hardware so you get all the necessary tie downs and all the necessary hardware needed for installation. It also comes with detailed installation instructions to help walk you through that whole process step by step. The product's made in the USA, and it's designed for most full-size non-dually pickup trucks with straight fenders and single wall construction. It will fit model years up to and including 2010. When it comes to the compatibility, it works with truck bed campers with an overall length up to 8 feet.A few measurements to go over with you real quick. The actual stake, which is this portion here, this is 5.5 inches long, and outside edge to outside edge has a width measurement of 1 7/8 of an inch.

The tie-down bar, that's this portion here, has a thickness of 3/8 inch, and the tie-down hole has a diameter of 5/8 of an inch. That's going to do it for today's look at the Brophy Stake Pocket Mounted Camper Tie Downs.
