BulletProof Hitches Clevis Hitch - Clevis Mount - CLEVIS Review

Today we're going to take a quick look at the 2-Tang Clevis for BulletProof .itches adjustable ball mount, and this does not come with the channel that I have it mounted on here. I just wanted to show that to you and show you how it's going to work with your BulletProof Hitches channel mount. You can pick up a lot of configurations of these adjustable ball mounts from etrailer.com. So definitely check those out. Different configurations as far as the hitch that it'll fit. This one in particular is a two inch shank.

But we have two and a half, three inch, all that good stuff. As far as our two-Tang Clevis, this is going to work out well for any kind of agricultural equipment or pintle trailer. Something that has that big lunette ring on the front that you need to drop the lynch pin through. The clevis pin is made of a zinc coated steel and it's a forged steel. This is going to be very sturdy. Should last a good long time.

That zinc coating is going to help to resist any rust. You have the cotter pin at the bottom to keep that in place. A little rotating table that's making it difficult for me to undo that, but pretty much you just pull the cotter pin, then the clevis pin and attach your trailer there. It's made of a sturdy steel construction with a nice black powder coat finish to resist rust and corrosion. Comes with that clevis pin and the matching cotter as well as the three pins that go into the adjustable ball mount to secure it there.

The nice thing with using the adjustable ball mounts is that you can adjust the height for the proper drop or rise that you'll need to use with your trailer.Pull those three clips and pull out our pins. And we can take a look at just that clevis portion. So here's what it'll actually look like on its own. It's going to have that nice black powder coat finish. As I mentioned, everything is pretty solid, forge construction.

Designed to work with the BulletProof Hitches adjustable ball mounts. The distance between the tangs here is two and a half inches. The clevis pin diameter is one inch. The mounting pin diameter is five eighths of an inch. And the distance between the mounting holes center to center is two inches. The distance from the center of those mounting holes to the center of the Clevis pin hole is four and five sixteenths. And this does have a max weight capacity of 20,000 pounds. Overall, I think this is going to be a really nice addition for your setup to get connected to any of those trailers I mentioned before that have the lunette ring or maybe just to use with a strap going around it, whatever the case may be. That's going to do it for our look at the 2-Tang Clevis for Bulletproof Hitches Adjustable Ball Mount.
