Buyers Products Trailer Lights - LED Trailer Tail Light - BP53FR Review

Hi there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a quick look at this Buyers Led Trailer Tail Light. This is gonna provide your stop, turn, tail, and backup light functions for you on the back of your trailer, so other motorists can tell what's going on, whether you're stopping or turning, so everything's gonna be a lot safer. This does have the built-in backup light that's going to help eliminate the need to cut holes in your trailer for additional lights by having that built-in. So as you can see here with my lights off, that's going to be our running lights, and we're also going to have our stop and turn lights that will come on when we apply those, and then, of course, our backup lights, that nice bright white light, so it's gonna make sure that other motorists are aware that we're backing up, and it's also gonna help us see in those little light conditions a little bit better. This does have a durable polycarbonate construction, so it is gonna hold up well.

The housing and lens unit are sonically sealed, so it is gonna be submersible, so it's gonna be great for your boat trailers and things like that. It's got an IP rating of 69, so it is rated to protect against dust and close range high pressure spray downs. As far as our dimensions go, this is right about 6 1/2 inches, as you can see there in our overall length. Our width, it's gonna be about 2 1/4. Then our depth, we're looking at approximately, I'm gonna call it 1 1/2 inches with our plugins back here.

Now, if you're not familiar with LEDs, they are gonna be a great option to replace your older incandescent lights, they're more efficient than the incandescent lights, so they're gonna provide a brighter light with less power output. The bulbs are a lot sturdier, because they don't have that brittle film inside, you're not gonna need to replace the bulbs, these are going to last about 50 times longer than incandescent bulbs, so they are gonna hold up well for you. On the backside here, you can see where you're gonna plug this in to your wiring on your trailer, you are going to need a one PL-2 connection and one PL-3 connection, you can find lots of different options for those, including the ones that you see on the screen there, here at etrailer.com, and that's going to allow you to plug this into the 12 volt system on your trailer. This is Department of Transportation compliant, it's going to meet the FMVSS 108 and the CMVSS 108 requirements for automotive lighting, so you can trust you're gonna be legal, it's gonna do a good job for you. This also comes with a limited lifetime warranty, so if you we're to have any problems with it, you're more than welcome to reach out to us here at etrailer.com.

We're always happy to work with our customers, make sure you're getting good quality products, and having a good experience. So if you are looking for a LED backup light or tail light for your trailer, this is gonna be exactly what you need. That's gonna complete our look for today. Again, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Thanks for watching..
