Review of CE SMIth Accessories and Parts CE26098G-2

Today we're going to be reviewing part number CE26098G-2. These are the CE Smith Mounting Brackets for Trailer Fenders for 13 to 14 to 15-inch wheels, made from a galvanized steel construction. Two brackets are included. These sturdy brackets are going to let you mount a fender to your trailer's frame. They bolt on to the trailer frame and your fender. Please keep in mind that the mounting hardware is not included.

They're constructed of a sturdy 1/4 inch galvanized steel that is designed to resist rusting and corrosion. Please also keep in mind that two brackets are required to mount one fender. They are designed to be applied a 8-inch or 9-inch wide fenders for single axle trailers. The longer arm is going to give us a measurement of 8-1/4 of an inch. The shorter arm is going to measure right at 6-1/2 inches. Each bracket's going to measure 1-1/2 inch in width.

On the shorter arm, the two holes from center-to-center are going to measure 4 inches. On the longer arm, from center-to-center, the holes are going to measure 2-3/8 of an inch. Now, each hole is going to give us a diameter of 3/8 of an inch. All the holes are identical. We do have a fender here just to give you an idea of how these would mount. You simply just place the bracket onto the fender and you just want to make sure that they're spaced out evenly.

Then once you have everything installed correctly, you can mount it to the trailer. You should be set to go. Now, keep in mind that depending on the style of fender that you have, some modifications may need to be made, like drilling some holes in order to get the brackets to fit. That's going to complete today's review of part number CE26098G-2. These are the CE Smith Mounting Brackets for Trailer Fenders to fit 13 to 14 to 15-inch wheels. .

Video starts off saying brackets are indeed included and then says remember that the brackets are not included. Poor

Thanks for the feedback! I think Cole was referring to the brackets themselves (which come as a pair) and then later was talking about the actual hardware that's needed to attach the brackets to the trailer - which isn't included.

Total useless video as it does not show how to mount a fender to the trailer frame. It added confusion to me.
