CE Smith Boat Trailer Parts - Roller and Bunk Parts - CE10002G-4 Review

Today, we're going to take a look at the C. E. Smith 13 inch long galvanized steel bolster and swivel bracket assemblies for a quantity of four. These bolster and swivel bracket assemblies let you install two bunk boards on your boat trailer. The bolster bracket and the swivel bracket are all typically mounted upright on your boat's trailer's crossmembers, and they allow a mounted bunk board, which runs from the front of the trailer to the back, to tilt to accommodate and support boat hulls of different sizes. The swivel brackets'll let you tilt the bunk board, and it helps you fit the boat hull snugly onto the trailer during your loading process. You can see the bolt and the lock nut is all included for attaching the swivel bracket to the bolster bracket.

The swivel bracket in here is what'll bolt to your bunk board, and the bolster bracket attaches to your trailer frame crossmembers. The mounting slots right here on the bolster bracket permit as much as a three and three quarter inch height adjustment during installation. The bracket installs vertically on your boat trailer's frame with a u-bolt, so when you go to install this, the u-bolt'll go through here, and then it can range . In other words, you could move a height adjustment anywhere .. Three and three quarter inches of height adjustment. You can see on this side, they have these dimpled surface on the bolster bracket.

That's to help prevent the bracket from sliding along the trailer frame. So, when you put your u-bolt through there and tighten it down, those dimples will go up against the trailer frame and keep it from moving. These are 11 gauge galvanized steel. Helps resist rust and corrosion. They are suitable for saltwater exposure. This part is for quantity for a quantity of four bracket assemblies.

We had mentioned the overall height. If we put a ruler on that, you're going to be right at about 13 inches. The dimension of just the bolster bracket itself, height on that is going to be right at 12 inches tall. The width on it is right at two and a half inches wide. The mounting slots right in here, the width on those are right at a half an inch, and the length on both of them ...

If we can get a good measurement here. Is going to be right at four and three quarter inches long. The swivel bracket, which is the part right up here at the top, measurement on that. Width of it is right at three and a half inches by one and three-eighths inches. The overall height, which is from the bottom here to the top, is going to be right at two inches tall. The mounting holes on the top of the swivel bracket, they are three-eighths inch diameter, and the spacing between them, center to center, is two and a half inches. That should do it for the review on the C. E. Smith 13 inch long galvanized steel bolster and swivel bracket assemblies for a quantity of four.
